The most charming village of Santorini, Oia is world-famous for the picturesque architecture and the romantic sunset. Located on the north western side of the island, Oia offers amazing spots to relax and enjoy the vast Aegean Sea. A favorite spot for artists and couples, this small village has impressive cave houses, narrow streets, white churches with blue dome and nice stone houses. Walk along the streets and have a seat in the terrace of restaurants and cafeterias to enjoy the view. Right opposite from Oia, there is the small island of Thirassia, with few permanent inhabitants. Regular boats and buses connect Oia to Fira, the capital of Santorini, and other places around the island.
